Hellenic Policy Papers

Translating Academic Research into Policy

About the Initiative

Joint Initiative by the Yale Hellenic Studies Program and IOBE

The Hellenic Policy Papers is a pioneering collaboration between the Yale Hellenic Studies Program and the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE). Styled after the prestigious Brookings Papers on Economic Activity, this independent policy forum is dedicated to shifting the spotlight onto critical Greek and European policy challenges, forecasting structural issues, and delivering rigorous, data-driven solutions.

Every year, the initiative commissions some high-impact working papers that maintain the highest standards of academic excellence while remaining deeply accessible to policymakers. By bridging cutting-edge academic research with real-world governance, the Hellenic Policy Papers serve as an advance catalyst for sustainable growth, institutional progress, and informed public dialogue.
